IRI Staff Attend the 2026 New York Alliance for Inclusion and Innovation Conference at The Sagamore
IRI was proud to have a strong presence at the recent New York Alliance Conference, held at The Sagamore Resort from April 14 through April 17.
A diverse group of approximately 20 IRI representatives attended the conference, including our board president. IRI’s CEO, members of the executive and senior management teams, as well as staff from operations, human resources, fiscal, and administrative services. The conference provided a valuable opportunity for professional development, collaboration, and connection with peers across the field.
Dr. Gilbert Louis, CEO, led a well-attended and highly regarded session on emergency response system, safe hospitalization, and safe hospital discharge practices. His presentation focused on evidence-based practices for getting care urgently, on acting swiftly, ensuring safe hospitalization and safe discharges as well as reducing preventable hospitalizations among individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), an area of critical importance to the communities we serve.
Lina Saray, Chief Financial and Human Resources Officer, also contributed to the conference as a panelist in a session on Artificial Intelligence (AI). The discussion explored real-world case studies and highlighted IRI’s thoughtful and strategic approach to integrating AI into its operations, with a focus on enhancing efficiency while maintaining strong governance and oversight.
We were pleased to have been joined by Mr. Gael Monteil, the President of IRI’s Board alongside his wife, further strengthening the organization’s representation and engagement at the conference. He led some informal sessions with both seasoned professionals and a cadre of emerging leaders setting the stage for collaboration and openness.
Participation in the New York Alliance for Innovation and Inclusion Conference continues to be an important investment for IRI—offering opportunities to gain insights into emerging trends, share expertise, and strengthen relationships both within our organization and across the broader provider community
