First Annual “Zicky” Award at IRI

On May 4, 2026 IRI celebrated Ms. Eve Paul who is known for creating a warm, home-like environment for the people we support. Ms. Paul takes great pride in preparing flavorful, nutritious meals, ensuring that individuals not only receive proper care but also enjoy a high quality of life. Ms. Paul received the first installment of the Zicky award given to an exemplary IRI direct support professional (DSP) who embodies the values of excellence, integrity and gentle care.  The award was presented by Mr. Gael Monteil, IRI board president. The Zicky award is funded for 10 years by a donation made by Dr. Gilbert Louis, IRI CEO and his sister, Mrs. Diane Georges.  It represents a celebration of Gael “Zicky” Monteil’s life.  The award is given every year on and around his birthday.
