Celebrating the IRI Nursing Team

On May 7, 2029 IRI paused and recognized the tireless work of our nursing team.  A luncheon was hosted at Luigi’s Restaurant for all IRI nurses.  In attendance were representatives from the quality assurance and compliance department, members of our executive team (Dr. Corrigan, Chief Operating Officer) and senior staff (Diyala Shannak, Director of Human Resources; Ruth Edoho, Director of Program Evaluation; Sophia Lulgjuray, Chief of Staff and Director of Social and Family Services; Gerard Christopher, Director of Nursing Services). Our nursing staff are the unsung heroes of our system as they ensure the health and safety of people with different intellectual and developmental disabilities, significant medical needs and complex behavioral needs. Ms. Shannak, Director of Human Resources captured the feelings of everyone with a thoughtful acknowledgment.  We salute every one of our nurses for being skilled, for always caring and for choosing to work at IRI.  Thank you.
