Board and Leadership Discussion of 2026 Strategic Priorities 

On June 23, 2026 the IRI board met with the executive staff (Dr. Elizabeth Corrigan, IRI Chief Operating Officer and Chief Psychologist; Susan McGrath, Chief Compliance Officer; Gilbert Louis, Chief Executive Officer; Ana Koessler, Chief Administrative Officer; and Lina Saray, Chief Financial and Human Resources Officer) and members of the senior staff (Mary Bosnack, Director of Accounting Services; Sophia Lulgjuray, Chief of Staff and Director of Social Services; Ruth Edoho, Director of Program Evaluation; Esan Torrington, Assistant Director of Residential Services; Alvin Horne, Director of Adult Day Services; Diyala Shannak, Director of Human Resources; and Cara Levy, Director of Community Services) for an evening of agency discussions highlighting our 2026 strategic priorities while enjoying a beautiful setting and a good meal at the Red Salt Room in Garden City.  These opportunities to have one to one and small group conversations are invaluable as their informality and casual nature allow for candid exchange, bonding, and new insights.  Besides the agency’s 2026 strategic priorities, a new enhanced staff medical emergency response guide (handy work of Dr. Corrigan, IRI COO), NYS governor’s budget priorities specific to IDD were highlighted.  Finally, a big thank you to Ana Koessler, Chief Administrative Officer for arranging this productive and beautiful event.  Happy New Year and thank you everyone for coming.
