Elizabeth Corrigan, Ph.D
Chief Operating Officer and Chief Psychologist

Dr. Corrigan joined Innovative Resources for Independence (IRI) in September 2018 as Chief Operating Officer. Within a short time, Dr. Corrigan has modernized all major systems and administrative protocols which govern the agency operations. She is leading our management training program; essential for long term sustainability. Prior to IRI, Dr. Corrigan served as Director of Adult Day Services at the Institutes of Applied Human Dynamics, Inc. (IAHD) for 25 years. Dr. Corrigan also served as the Research Director at Meaningful NY.

Dr. Corrigan earned a BA and Higher Diploma in Education from University College, Cork, Ireland. She has a Master’s of Science Degree in Education (Counseling and Personnel Services) from Fordham University, New York City. Dr. Corrigan completed her internship at the Early Intervention Evaluation Center at New York State Institute for Basic Research in Developmental Disabilities before earning a PhD from New York University (NYU) in counseling psychology. Dr. Corrigan is a licensed psychologist with expert knowledge in managing complex systems and clinical best practices supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
