Annual Autism Acceptance Walk

On Sunday, April 28, 2024, IRI Strider’s Club enjoyed its Annual Autism Walk at Forest Park. Our Autism Acceptance Walk has become a perennial event enjoyed by the people we support and our staff.  This is a celebration of each person’s abilities, including but not limited to walking fast, walking for a couple of steps, or walking together.  The event closes with a medal distribution ceremony and a commitment to do it again next year while training every week to ensure improvement over time.  The Strider’s Club is dedicated to healthy living through movement and physical activation.
