A Quality Discussion with Commissioner Neifield

On November 6, 2023, the IRI executive team hosted Commissioner Kerri Neifield and Deputy Commissioner Megan O’Connor and their quality improvement and regional office leadership team at our headquarters.

For a half day, we had a substantive discussion about quality, how to identify it, how to achieve it, and how to measure it.  We had a lively set of discussions led by Dr. Louis on some risk-laden and strategic matters.

This was followed by Dr. Corrigan, Chief Operating Officer; Lina Saray, Chief of Staff and Director of Human Resources; and Noelia Mango, Director of Clinical Services and Data Analytics, who presented evidence-informed practices across several managerial, clinical, technical, and tactical areas.  The evidence-informed practices have been successfully implemented at IRI in mitigating risk and optimizing opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live their best lives.
