Crisis Prevention & Intervention
Our Crisis Prevention and Intervention team works with individuals who have psychiatric, behavioral, or situational conditions that place them or others at risk.
The members of the crisis team work together with agencies, family, and the individuals to help bring needed resources to the problem situation. The goal of this short-term service is to determine the support needed to help individuals who are having a crisis, replace the old pattern of crisis behavior with socially appropriate actions, and to alert, connect, and interface with the necessary provider or natural support sources to the problem situation.
Our aim is to help individuals in times of need while also preventing unnecessary hospitalizations.
