Ana Koessler

Ana joined Innovative Resources for Independence (IRI) on December 1, 2018 as Director of Social Services and Community Engagement. Prior to joining IRI, Ana served as the Director of Social and Family Services at IAHD after having administered a Day Habilitation program system supporting 130 people with complex behavior and medical needs as well as a Sunday Family Support program supporting children, teenagers and their siblings. Ana is responsible for intake, entitlements, benefits management, family reimbursement, building and maintenance, and transportation. Ana has been supporting people with IDD for over 20 years.
Ana graduated from Mercy College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and holds a Master's Degree in Social Work from Hunter College (CUNY). Ana is fluent in Spanish.
