Innovative Resources for Independence (IRI) is a New York-based non-profit organization that supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities through quality services and meaningful opportunities.
Guided by personal choice and partnership, we offer individuals and their families customized support programs to help them live, work, participate in their community, and maintain healthy lifestyles.
Our staff carefully assesses the unique needs of each person and together create individualized supports that enrich their lives. Operating 24/7, we offer residential, service coordination, community habilitation, family support services, day services and more.
IRI was founded in 1984 by a small group of parents concerned about the well-being of their children. For decades, IRI has stayed true to our mission of providing support and safe living environments that encourage personal growth and supports independence.
