After School Program

Our After School Program (ASP) offers children on the autism spectrum the opportunity to participate in various activities including art, music, puzzle building, sports, and games.

Our goal is to enhance children’s leisure activities so that, as they practice their interpersonal skills, they will generalize these skills for use in all aspects of their lives. This program serves school-aged children with autism with an atmosphere of safety, respect, and dignity.

IRI’s highly experienced staff adheres to the most comprehensive professional standards available, while working to empower the individuals in their care to socialize appropriately. By teaching appropriate choices, children can lead a more enriched and enhanced life and maximize their full potential. Our staff works in conjunction with school districts and families to ensure the program’s success.

This program is available in Queens.
